CRISTINA MARINO
Cristina Marino is a Canadian self-taught artist and the creator of Art Loves Music. Working with oils, acrylics and watercolour, her work explores the relationship between music, emotion, movement and landscape through her signature artistic language: landscapes of sound.
Using colour, texture and expressive mark-making, she transforms the feeling and rhythm of music into imagined visual environments. Her evolving body of work includes original paintings on canvas and limited collections such as Purple Frequency, with Magical coming soon.
Cristina's work has been exhibited internationally and featured through exhibitions, publications and interviews. At the heart of Art Loves Music is the idea that sound can be felt beyond what we hear — becoming colour, movement, memory and landscape.
